Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for commercial contract management? Our client, a leading player in the commercial construction industry, is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join their Townsville team. In this role you will report to the QLD State Manager and be part of a national team of Contracts specialists. You will work across multiple projects at any given time that will vary in scope and value. As a skilled Contracts Administrator, you have a clear understanding of the facets of effective project management and be passionate about successful delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and optimize subcontract mechanisms
  • Manage comprehensive client reporting, including status, project, program, and risk reports
  • Conduct commercial reviews of head contracts and agreements
  • Support project management in forecasting activities
  • Implement and maintain robust subcontract management processes
  • Oversee document control procedures
  • Liaise effectively with key stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing commercial support to projects nationally
  • Collaborate with HSEQ team to ensure compliance with management systems and regulatory requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in contracts administration within the construction sector
  • Solid exposure to multi disciplined projects such as remediation works of varying scope.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Commercial acumen with a focus on client satisfaction
