Their team currently comprises 45 different practitioners across 12 different health disciplines, including Psychology and General Practice. The main purpose of this position is to provide Paediatric Occupational Therapy services in line with our client’s core values in order to deliver an integrated, high-quality service and an exemplary patient experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Deliver all clinical sessions using the Practice core values as a guiding principle.

· Create a professional, dynamic, and nurturing experience for the patient.

· Address the health status/problems of the patient using a holistic approach to diagnose and treat the underlying cause of issues.

· Ensure the neat and tidy presentation of the treatment rooms.

· Maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and current Indemnity Insurance to an agreed level.

· Provide clear, concise communication through regular reports or other effective means of communication with all professionals involved in the care of a client.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

· Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.

· Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

· Experience and skill in a variety of areas relating to OT client care.

· Knowledge of windows-based computer programs.

· Understanding of the medico-legal position regarding patient confidentiality.
