About the role

Tree's Physiotherapy is seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Ipswich, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, play-based occupational therapy services to children with a range of developmental, physical, and cognitive needs.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs of each child and develop tailored treatment plans
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to help children improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in daily living activities
• Collaborating closely with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care
• Providing education and support to families, empowering them to continue the therapeutic process at home
• Maintaining detailed clinical documentation and contributing to the continuous improvement of our paediatric occupational therapy services

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a paediatric setting
• Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a deep understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuing education
• Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
