Belong at Home (CHC) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and solutions-focused person to join our team as a Senior Scheduler.
Belong at Home is a highly respected not-for-profit local organisation, providing a range of services to older people and their carers throughout the South West of WA, with offices in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook and Bridgetown. This fulltime role is based in Bunbury with a requirement to work alternate weekends as part of a 38 hour week.
As a key member of the Bunbury team, you will have excellent communication skills, an empathetic attitude and understanding of older people and be solution focused.
Role & Responsibilities
Timely scheduling response to action and prioritise service requests.
Respect & incorporate client preferences and choices in planning
Follow guidelines to support concern with client issues reported.
Regular communication to stakeholders by phone, or one on one
Prompt response to client schedule concerns related to complaints or cancellations.
Weekly review and auditing of schedules across 6 sites to ensure compliance with SCHADS Award.
Training, support and direction for Schedulers across all sites where required.
Support with project driven initiatives where required.
Represent Belong at Home positively and professionally at all times;
Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement ideas and initiatives;
Your Skills & Experience
Experience in Scheduling position in aged care or similar is required.
Proficiency in using internal databases and Microsoft Office Suite;
Proven administration experience and data entry background;
Understanding of WHS and experience managing them in the workplace.
Understanding of issues relating to aged care.
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Excellent time management skills;
Previous leadership experience is preferred.
