Salary: $111,283 - $129,707 per annum
Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
Permanent Full time (38 hours per week)
Commute use of vehicle

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced professional to join our Community Safety team. This position is responsible for the delivery of specialist Community Safety systems and compliance support initiatives such as, the City’s Public Safety Framework, Graffiti Management, Parking Projects, and internal Chief Warden responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a public safety background, and experience leading a team to successfully deliver operational outcomes, key projects, and oversee legislative responsibilities. You will also hold a tertiary qualification in project management and/or leadership and management or have equivalent extensive experience.

Experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated experience in working with community groups and key stakeholders (internal and external) to engage them in relevant projects, programs, and policies.
Experience in leading and managing projects.
Experience preparing high level reports to the executive team.
Demonstrated experience in the comprehension and application of legislation.
Experience in contract renewals and grant applications.
Experience in a public safety environment.
