About the Position
Are you a passionate leader who can support and mentor teams across multiple sites to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care? Greater Hume have a leadership opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional looking to take the next step in their leadership journey.
Greater Hume Childrens Services are an established early childhood education and care provider, dedicated to providing high quality education and care in a nurturing, nature based environment. Greater Hume operate four (4) Early Childhood Centres, across Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Walla Walla, with three (3) of these sites also operating OSHC services. The Children Services Coordinator is responsible for leading, managing and providing specialist knowledge to Centre leaders and teams. It is essential that the Children Services Coordinator can build strong relationships with all stakeholders, in particular our teams, families and associated agencies. The Coordinator will be Nominated Supervisor for all four Centres and three OSHC services. The position will require the Coordinator to work in partnership with the Children Services Manager to ensure operations across all sites are sustainable and consistent levels of high quality care is being delivered.
We are looking for:
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education;
- Leadership experience in a childcare or EYLF environment or equivalent;
- In-depth knowledge of National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework with Assessment and Rating experience;
- Passion for delivering high quality childcare services;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Current Accredited Child Protection training;
- Current First Aid Certificate;
- Current Class 'C' Drivers Licence; and
- Hold and maintain a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Check.

Salary and Hours
This position attracts a salary in the range of $95,000 to $106,400 gross per annum plus an 11.5% Council Superannuation contribution. The position works a 35 hour week and a 9-day fortnight and offers a Council vehicle on a leaseback arrangement for business and personal use.
