We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Administration Officer / Assistant, you will support our depot operations in the Gold Coast region - based from our Molendinar office.

You will be experienced, reliable and able to provide efficient day-to-day administration support to the team. Working in a dynamic environment, you will have the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand, and have excellent problem solving and time management skills.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Entry

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable support

General administration

Customer service - phone and email

Processing of documentation accurately and efficiently within required timeframes

Answering telephones, responding to email enquiries

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required

Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met

Facilitate flow of information between sales, operations, administration and management

Other duties as requested

ABOUT YOU

Have experience in a similar Administration role

Moderate to advance Microsoft Office capability

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders

Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail

Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance

Well-developed people and relationship skills

Experience in transport, logistics or service industry - highly regarded but not essential

Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
