Are you a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant looking to contribute to a dynamic team? We’re looking for an energetic, results-driven professional to help manage our debtor and creditor accounts, oversee all month-end financial transactions, and play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End & Year-End Closures: Play a vital role in closing out the month and year-end procedures, contributing to the company’s financial success and reporting accuracy.
• Debtor Ledger Management: Take ownership of the debtor’s ledger, ensuring that new accounts are authorised and approved in a timely manner and in line with company guidelines.
• Creditor Procedures: Oversee creditor accounts by ensuring invoices are properly authorised and all purchasing procedures are followed.
• Data Entry: You’ll be responsible for posting monthly data into the GAL system, making sure all entries follow our established coding system.
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Manage bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll also support the preparation of the monthly BAS, ensuring that everything is aligned with company standards.
• Auditing: liaison with auditors, and prepare, review and submit
  audit requirements
