Due to growth, we're looking for a dynamic Assistant Accountant to join our professional, fast-paced finance team at our Head Office in Gregory Hills.

The Role

As the Assistant Accountant, you’ll play a key part in the financial operations of our organisation. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you’ll be involved in:

- Invoicing, payroll processing, and financial administration using Employment Hero, Xero and PRODA
- Assisting with monthly management reporting and BAS/GST submissions
- Managing accounts payable and receivable (including subcontractors and suppliers)
- Preparing reconciliations, statutory accounts, and supporting audits
- Improving workflow efficiencies and mentoring team members
- Providing financial support to internal stakeholders and communicating with external providers and clients

What You Bring

- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management (desirable)
- Strong understanding of NDIS funding, invoicing and compliance
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including SCHADS Award and Child Safe Standards
