Important Notes:
**The successful applicant must be available to work a range of shifts Monday to Friday, Weekends & Public Holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia. It's 3-4 shifts average per week for this position. General shift times will be from 7am-3pm, and from 3pm- 10pm. The successful applicant would also be required to stay overnight on site when required, several days a week.
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Office Reception Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic Beachfront Quest Scarborough team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. You will also assist with reservations, handle guest inquiries, and provide information about the hotel and local area.
Seeking a positive, driven and enthusiastic person with a very hands on approach, whom loves a challenge, can work as part of a team and also autonomously. This role requires confidence - excellent sales and organisational skills with the ability to multi task.
Major Responsibilities:
Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Assist guests with reservations and inquiries
Provide information about the hotel amenities and local attractions
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Coordinating reservations
Maintaining client contacts
Guest services
Site walks
Catering and conferencing
Maintaining stationary and office supplies
Coordination of couriers and mail
Accurate and efficient management of information
Storage filing systems
General day to day Front Office operations and hotel guest services
Qualifications:
RMS experience highly regarded.
Previous front office reception experience in a hospitality, travel or tourism environment would be highly regarded, as would other types of customer facing roles e.g. retail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
