Our new Pool rooms are about to launch to market, not only completing our accommodation offering, but providing another opportunity to join our brilliant Front Office team. Lead by our Front Office Manager, you'll be one of our welcoming and friendly faces for our guests coming to stay with us.
About the new resort:
The Lodge Wadjemup is the new addition to the Hospitality and Tourism industry here in Western Australia. For the last two years, our Perth based owners have carefully curated a team of exceptional Western Australian and national talent to design and deliver a beautiful, welcoming and relaxed food & beverage and accommodation offering on Western Australia's most loved holiday and tourism destination, Rottnest Island. Island Living:
This is a Live On Role! The successful candidate will be provided accommodation in a comfortable share house to reside, explore and enjoy the incredible lifestyle Rottnest offers, all for a low weekly rent that includes all utilities such as rates, electricity, gas and water bills. The Position:
In between the smooth checking in and checking out process that you'll deliver, our Guest Services Agent will ensure that each guest's stay is a beautiful, relaxed and memorable one.
Your responsibilities will include:
Front Desk Operations:
Managing check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, guest needs and inquiries throughout their stay.
2. Guest Services:
Providing exceptional guest service: knowing the island, its seasons, its amenities and attractions and advising on what our guests may enjoy given the time of day, the weather and their wish list.
3. Financial Accountability:
Managing cash and payment transactions accurately.
Assisting billing, invoicing, and financial reporting as needed.
4. Problem Resolution:
Managing any guest concerns, finding satisfactory resolutions.
Collaborating with other departments to address and resolve issues efficiently.
5. Security and Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and Health and Safety protocols.
Assisting in implementing security measures and emergency and incident response procedures.

What you'll need to have:
Proven experience in a similar Front Office/Guest Services role.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in hotel management software.
National Police Clearance.
The Right to Work in Australia.
A current driver's license valid in Australia.
