We own a modern and well-maintained fleet at our Arndell Park Distribution Centre, at Micway Transport we pride ourselves in excellent customer service, high safety standards and high food handling standards.
About The Role:
Micway Transport is looking for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our busy maintenance team in our Arndell Park Workshop.
You will be responsible for servicing and repairing Micway’s refrigerated vehicles.
Tasks involved:
Repair, maintain and diagnose all company vehicles including prime movers, refrigerated rigids and refrigerated trailers
Repair, maintain and diagnose Anteo tailgates
Working in a team environment, but can also work independently
Repairs and services in line with company and NHVR requirements
Working in a safe and efficient manner
Accurate completion of all documentation for services and repairs
Skills required:
Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic qualifications, (essential)
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
Own basic tools (all specialist tools are provided)
Previous experience working with refrigerated fleets (advantageous)
HR/HC driver licence (advantageous)
Forklift Licence (advantageous)
Motivated and reliable work ethic

Please note Micway is a 24 hour, 7 day a week business. Micway only closes on 2 Public Holidays (Christmas Day and Good Friday). Micway has a block out period for every NSW holiday season. Please note if you are successful block out dates for 2024 will apply to yourself.
