About the role

This is a full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic role based in Box Hill NSW 2765, working for NSW BUILDING PRODUCTS PTY LTD. In this key position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of Kenworth and Mack heavy vehicles and plant and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating efficiently to support the business's operations.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a range of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and forklifts

Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimise vehicle performance

Test and inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems

Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken adhering to NHVR maintenance standards

Liaise with the operations team to coordinate vehicle availability and minimise downtime

What we're looking for

Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' demonstrated experience

Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair procedures

Ability to diagnose and rectify complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
