We are on the lookout for an experienced Landscape Maintenance/Handyman to join our maintenance partner team; City to Sea Landscapes. You will be part of a team that helps to create and maintain beautiful outdoor areas that inspire and delight the children in our care!

About the role:

• Regular maintenance of garden areas, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
• Ensuring all outdoor areas are safe and compliant with childcare regulations.
• Being responsible for street presentation of the building, landscape surrounds, and car park.
• Monitoring plant health and implementing pest control measures as needed.
• Assisting with general landscape maintenance tasks, including minor carpentry, painting and irrigation.
• Working to a program for proactive scheduled maintenance.
• Reporting completed works via our app on completion of each service.

A little about you:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Landscape maintenance and multi task Handy person type role. (childcare or educational setting desirable, but not essential)
• Current manual drivers licence and working with children card, or ability to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation with good problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
• Understanding of safety requirements in childcare environments (training ongoing).
• Reliable, hardworking, and proactive
