We are on the lookout for 2 experienced Landscape Maintenance/Handyman to join our maintenance partner team, City to Sea Landscapes, and help create and maintain beautiful outdoor areas that inspire and delight the children in our care.

About the role

• Regular maintenance of garden areas, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
• Ensuring all outdoor areas are safe and compliant with childcare regulations.
• Being responsible for street presentation of the building, landscape surrounds, and car park.
• Monitoring plant health and implementing pest control measures as needed.
• Assisting with general landscape maintenance tasks, including minor carpentry, painting and irrigation.
• Working to a program for proactive scheduled maintenance.
• Reporting completed works via our app on completion of each service.

A little about you

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Landscape maintenance and multi task Handy person type role. (childcare or educational setting desirable, but not essential)
• Current drivers licence and working with children card, or ability to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation with good problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
• Understanding of safety requirements in childcare environments(training ongoing).
• Reliable, hardworking, and proactive
