About the role

We are seeking an experienced bather to join our team at Simply Stylish Dog Grooming in Balwyn North, VIC. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fun, friendly environment and help care for the dogs that visit our salon.

What you'll be doing

Bathing and drying dogs of all breeds and sizes in preparation for grooming

Ensuring dogs are comfortable and calm throughout the bathing process

Using appropriate shampoos, conditioners and tools to achieve a high standard of cleanliness

Drying dogs thoroughly using high-velocity dryers

Assisting groomers with minor tasks as needed

Maintaining a clean and organised grooming area

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience as a dog bather or in a similar role (preferred)

Excellent handling skills and the ability to work safely and calmly around dogs

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

A passion for animal welfare and a genuine love of dogs
