About the role

Complete Plumbing and Fire Pty Ltd are seeking a driven and experienced Fire Passive Manager to join their team in Wollongong, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and compliance of passive fire protection systems within a variety of commercial and industrial properties.

What you'll be doing

Conduct regular inspections and testing of passive fire protection systems such as fire doors, penetrations, and dampers to ensure they meet Australian Standards

Prepare detailed reports/Quotes and documentation to record system performance and identify any required remediation work

Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities

Manage a team of technicians to carry out passive fire protection system installations, repairs, and upgrades

Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards

Stay up-to-date with changes to relevant legislation and building codes

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar fire protection or building services role

Thorough understanding of passive fire protection systems and Australian Standards compliance

Strong technical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve fire safety issues

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Ability to read and interpret building plans, schematics, and technical documentation

Relevant trade qualifications or tertiary education in a related field

Current driver's licence and ability to travel to client sites
