THE COMPANY
Our client is accredited with the NSW + ACT Government as a Building Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority. They offer a fresh approach to certification and consulting services, with an innovative team of Accredited Building Certifiers who work hard to provide outstanding levels of service to their clients. Multiple offices throughout Sydney + Melbourne. This role will be to open a new office in Canberra.
THE ROLE
Due to recent growth, our client is looking for a senior commercial building surveyor to come on board to open a new office in ACT.
You will be the state manager and be able to bring on a team around you. Our client has plenty of work in the ACT area.
DUTIES
- Compliance review of class 2-9 buildings
- Prepare Building Approvals
- Inspections
- Prepare OC
ABOUT YOU
- Be licenced as an priniciapal building surveyor- or be able to work towards this. Otherwise building code consultants with 5+ years experience are also encouraged to apply
- Have experience with class 2-9 buildings
- 5+ years experience as a building surveyor
- Valid drivers licence
- Exceptional customer service, proven ability to be the face of the organisation to our clients.
- Possess a high level of knowledge and understanding of the National Construction Code and the relevant Planning Legislation; both for plan assessments and site inspections.
