My client, a leading Australian civil & infrastructure construction company with a strong track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure, is looking for an experienced Survey Manager to oversee survey operations on major projects across the Sydney region.

About the Role:

In this senior position, you’ll lead the survey function across complex infrastructure projects—managing teams, coordinating fieldwork, and ensuring precise data integration across engineering and construction teams. Your experience on large-scale civil projects will be essential in maintaining quality, safety, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage surveying teams across major infrastructure sites.
• Develop and implement survey plans to support construction timelines and technical requirements.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with project specifications.
• Provide technical input and collaborate with engineers, designers, and delivery managers.
• Manage subcontractors, mentor junior surveyors, and uphold Tier 1 quality standards.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in a Survey Manager or Senior Surveyor role in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies
• Proficient in industry-standard survey technology (e.g., Leica, Trimble, 12d).
• Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Formal qualifications in surveying, geomatics, or related fields.
