About us:
Racecourse Projects is a large-scale Cane Farming Operation with three sites in the Mackay region.
We are currently looking for and experienced and motivated Accounts Administrator to work on a part-time basis, 20 hours per week, as part of a small flexible administration team.
You will be based at our Marwood site, south of Mackay.
The Role: Accounts Administrator
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for a range of accounts administration and processing. Day-to-day you will:
Perform all accounting and administration tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions including
preparing supplier account applications
liaising with operational staff on purchase orders
coding and processing invoices
reconciling supplier statements and communicating with suppliers
Prepare bank and corporate card reconciliations
Process minor insurance claims
Process vehicle registrations and vehicle inspections, including liaising with Department of Transport
Provide administrative support on WH&S matters
Provide general administrative, payroll and accounting support to the broader administration team as required.
About you:
If you are experienced in accounts payable and financial administration in a small to medium sized business, have previous experience with MYOB or XERO, Word and Excel and are looking for a part-time role where you can contribute, we would love to hear from you.
Working on a part-time basis, you will need great time management and organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience in WHS, agriculture or logistics is highly advantageous, however it's your work ethic and desire to contribute that will set you apart!
