The Opportunity:
You've likely got a strong track record in street sales or dealing direct with consumers / small businesses. You know how to strike up a conversation with a stranger and understand their wants and needs. You can probably convert that to a sale or a deal and consistently hit your targets.
However, you could have grown a little weary of maintaining a stale client base, maybe the product isn't as exciting to you anymore or you just need a career change to feel that desire to hunt and grow something again?
With this product and this territory, you'll have a specific set of growth targets with acquisitions and profitability they key metrics to earning. Your manager has incredibly deep knowledge of the region to support you and the marketing team have dedicated resources to assist you in developing sales strategies.
The brand is very well known and the current customer base is loyal but has a lot of scope to transact more.
What you'll be considering with this role is stepping into a solid territory with strong leadership, clarity on your commission every month and learning a new product so many people need.
The Business & Culture:
I've been working very closely with the leadership team since 2021, hiring key roles with the aim of both boosting their sales, brand and presence AND creating a culture where people are encouraged to think for themselves.
It starts at the top - the country manager believes everyone should be given the room, scope and support to make their own decisions, develop their own strategies and be rewarded in transparent fashion.
Everyone I've placed across the business (10 roles and counting) has grown, fed back they really enjoy the refreshing approach to being treated like a human first and feel empowered to be responsible for their outcomes.
Their HQ is in Sydney CBD and they make a huge effort to include all the territorial employees. Quarterly sales trips really help reinforce that as well as build relationships with other sales people.
What we need from You:
18-24 months in sales (walking a territory or selling to walk-ins) and consistently hitting KPI's.
A "relationship first" approach to sales - how you build trust and develop a prospect then look after it post-conversion.
Evidence of how you collaborate with marketing to develop acquisition, retention and growth strategies for customers.
An ability to manage a territory covering Sydney East, South and North and do it efficiently and effectively.
