The Perth Motorplex is operated by Evolve Facility Management, responsible for the direct operations and management of the venue, ensuring the provision of support for high performance competition, community & commercial opportunities in Motorsport.

Evolve seeks the services of a Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our team located at the Perth Motorplex.

This is a full-time position offered initially as a contract with opportunities for permanency. Due to the nature of the business, this role may require work outside of normal office hours, within the events framework of the business.

Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Grounds and Maintenance Officer:

Ensures all Perth Motorplex facilities are presented in a clean, safe and tidy condition at all times and that public health and safety standards and OSH regulations are adhered to.

Responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and working order of the Perth Motorplex and its facilities.

Responsible for all turf and reticulation maintenance including mowing, fertilising and associated works.

Undertakes perimeter checks; reports any damage to the Facilities Manager and assists with the repair/rectification as required.

Responsible for the routine maintenance of fence lines, gardens, lawns, paths and roadways within the Perth Motorplex.

Works closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure facilities are prepared as required for each event and any maintenance issues are identified and managed.

Responsible for Post event Clean up and pack down

Carry out or coordinate general repairs and maintenance of the buildings and equipment

Nightly check that the buildings and facilities are locked

Compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirement

Maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.

Current Australian C Class Drivers Licence

Current Senior First Aid

Current Australian HR Class Drivers Licence

Elevated Work Platform HRWL

Forklift Ticket

Telescopic Materials Handlers Ticket (Telehandler)

Employment Conditions and Eligibility

Appointment to this position is conditional upon:

providing appropriate evidence of the ‘Right to Work’ in Australia;

providing a National Police Clearance Certificate (dated within 3 months from the date of application for the position) from a recognised service provider as determined by Perth Motorplex.
