About the Role
As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Construction and Project Managers throughout the entire project life cycle. You’ll ensure that all financial, commercial, contractual, and compliance matters are managed seamlessly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor packages and variations to projects
Preparing and managing paperwork associated with the projects and ensure full contractual compliance across projects
Assist in planning, programming, and resource scheduling, and overseeing work carried out of by subcontractors and reporting on completion of work orders
Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and labour
Maintain and manage accurate project documentation
Contribute to financial reporting and risk management
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and project management team
Respond to inquiries, resolve problems concerning contracts and advise management on matters requiring attention
Data collection, reporting on project outcomes, prepare submission and reports for project management team
Process claims and generate accurate payment schedules within timelines
Experience
- Hold relevant qualifications and have at least 1 year of experience; or
- Have at least 3 years of experience in contract administration, project coordination, or a similar role
Skills Required
✅ Proven experience in contract administration
✅ Strong understanding of construction, design, or service delivery processes
✅ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Contractors)
✅ Experience in reviewing and negotiating contract variations
✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills for liaising with stakeholders and resolving issues
✅ Ability to prepare reports, analyse project data, and provide clear updates to management
✅ Proficient in project management tools and software (Excel or similar)
✅ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
