My client is seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join their dedicated team. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of financial records and producing key reports that directly inform strategic business decisions. This role is initially a temp role, however has a large likelihood of going permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare & review monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Support statutory reporting, external audits, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets, overseas payments, and prepare tax returns (BAS, GST, Income Tax, FBT, Land Tax).
• Conduct variance analysis, assist with budgets/forecasts, and maintain financial records.
• Complete monthly/yearly reporting and reconcile stock accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

About You:

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance. CPA/CA preferred.
• 3-5 years corporate/commercial financial accounting experience (multinational advantageous).
• Experience within Wholesaler/Manufacturing Industries
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• High integrity and professionalism.
