We’re working with a major player in the industrial sector that’s heading into the busy year end period. They’re looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to step in on a 6-month contract and take real ownership.

You’ll be trusted to be a self-starter who can keep things moving, and make sure reporting is rock solid. It’s the kind of role where you’ll be seen, backed, and relied on from day one.

About the Client

Our client is a well-established industrial business based in Western Sydney, known for its large-scale operations and strong presence in the manufacturing and supply chain space.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive year-end financial close across multiple entities;
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS;
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies;
• Liaise directly with external auditors – manage requests, provide evidence, and resolve issues efficiently;
• Clean up balance sheet reconciliations, address historical issues, and tighten controls; and
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Candidate Profile

• CA qualified with a Big 4 audit background;
• Solid industry experience in financial accounting (industrial or manufacturing preferred);
• Deep understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards;
• Strong track record in managing external audits and audit readiness;
• Detail-oriented, fast-working, and confident under pressure; and
• Available to start immediately.
