What’s the role?
As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner at News Corp Australia, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our 2025 Cadet Program. This is a strategic and hands-on opportunity where you’ll partner with senior leaders to assess a diverse pool of emerging talent, using innovative tools and data-driven insights to evaluate aptitude and potential. From targeted sourcing to candidate engagement and assessment centre preparation, you’ll help shape the next generation of media professionals. It’s a fast-paced, collaborative role that combines purpose, impact, and the opportunity to work across some of Australia’s most iconic media brands. Assist in the planning and preparation of the cadet program, with a focus on attraction, selection, and on-boarding.

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for the 2025 Cadet Program, from strategic sourcing through to assessment centre coordination.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand talent needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Assess candidates using a mix of aptitude, behavioural, and personality-based evaluation tools to ensure the right fit.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Utilise leading recruitment technologies including video interviews and LinkedIn Talent Insights to drive data-informed hiring decisions.
