About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive Learning and Development Officer to support the delivery and continuous improvement of training across our organisation.
This role plays a key part in building a future-ready workforce by coordinating structured learning activities, supporting the implementation of training needs analyses (TNA), and ensuring the smooth operation of our Learning Management System (LMS). Working closely with operational teams across field and water storage sites, as well as head office stakeholders, you’ll help make training accessible, effective, and aligned with business priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the organisation and delivery of training across multiple locations and teams.
Assisting in the coordination of Training Needs Analyses and helping to develop training plans based on identified priorities.
Maintaining and improving our Learning Management System (e.g., SuccessFactors, Elmo, Moodle), ensuring information is up-to-date and user-friendly.
Contributing to the refinement of training processes to improve efficiency and the overall learning experience.
Collaborating with both frontline staff and leaders to ensure training activities meet operational needs.
What You’ll Bring:
Mandatory:
Experience in Learning & Development, ideally in operational, field-based or multi-site environments.
Familiarity with conducting or supporting Training Needs Analyses and translating outcomes into practical plans.
Practical experience with Learning Management Systems and administrative tasks related to training delivery.
Desired:
Qualifications in Human Resources, Adult Education, or Training & Assessment (e.g., TAE40122 or equivalent).
Experience supporting system or process changes involving HRIS or LMS tools.
Awareness of compliance training requirements in high-risk or regulated industries such as utilities, infrastructure, or construction.
