We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our team, supporting the construction department with the administration and delivery of projects, particularly large-loss insurance-related residential and commercial repairs. This position is perfect for a person close to the completion of their studies and is a great entry role into the Construction industry. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of contracts and project documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support Project Managers and the construction team on large loss projects with administration and delivery
Coordinate with internal staff and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution
Assist with cost management, project scheduling, and tracking progress against deadlines
Manage and build relationships with clients and stakeholders
Administer and execute contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Assist with tender processes, design reviews, and scope documentation
Conduct risk assessments and draft mitigation plans
Attend site visits to liaise with trades, colleagues, and stakeholders
Maintain an understanding of market rates for materials and labor
Prepare and submit variations as required
Conduct quality control audits on projects before completion
Assist in dispute resolution and claim escalations
Represent Ezy Projects professionally at industry events and networking functions
Skills and Experience
Qualifications (Mandatory)
Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card)
Current Driver’s License
Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Building & Construction or Construction Management Degree
Desirable Qualifications
First Aid (Basic/CPR)
Working at Heights accreditation
Previous experience in the insurance building industry
Experience & Skills
1 year in a construction or contract administration role (desirable)
Previous experience in a customer service environment
Strong understanding of project management, cost control, and scheduling
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and industry standards
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
