Accura Consulting is a firm of Chartered Quantity Surveyors specialising in providing expert advice in matters of quantity surveying, contract administration and commercial management, project planning services, claims resolution, and quantum & delay expert services.

We’re looking for a skilled Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator to join a major infrastructure project team delivering complex construction works across transport and civil sectors.

This is a great opportunity for someone with proven experience in construction and infrastructure delivery, particularly during the execution phase of large-scale projects.

About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for administering high-value contracts, supporting commercial management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage construction contracts during the delivery phase

Prepare and assess variations, payment claims, and contract adjustments

Track project budgets, control costs, and manage contingencies

Identify and resolve complex contractual and commercial issues

Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress

Produce accurate and timely commercial reporting

What You’ll Bring

5 + years’ experience in contract administration on construction and infrastructure projects

Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, commercial risk, and cost control

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced delivery environments

Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset

Desirable

Experience on major projects:

Over $1 billion (rail-specific)

Over $200–300 million (general infrastructure)

Familiarity with collaborative or alliance contracting models

Experience working on Queensland-based projects
