We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and support our Head Chef in delivering high-quality meals to our valued patrons.

About the Role
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment where quality, teamwork, and creativity are valued. You’ll assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, step into a leadership role when needed, and play a key part in producing our much-loved dishes and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen

Lead and support the kitchen team when required

Prepare and oversee the baking of bread, pastries, desserts, and meals

Maintain strict food safety and cleanliness standards

Assist with stock control, ordering, and overall kitchen organisation

Provide input into seasonal menus and special offerings

About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong passion for food and a collaborative spirit. The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a cook or chef, ideally in a bistro or family-style restaurant

Solid baking and pastry preparation skills

Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities

Relevant cooking qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar preferred)

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

The right to work in Australia (citizen, resident, or valid work visa)
