Kareela Family Practice provides high-quality care to our patients and fosters a supportive, friendly work environment for our team. We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to join us in part-time role.

Essential Requirements:

• APHRA registration & indemnity insurance

Key Duties:

• Assisting Drs with clinical procedures and supporting patient care

• Recalls and reminders

• Preventative screenings, health assessments, and care plans

• Iron infusions

• Immunisations, triage, wound management, and ECGs

• Ensuring compliance with infection control, cold chain, waste management, and OH&S

• Collaborating with Drs, staff, health professionals, and patients with compassion and professionalism

Skills & Experience:

• General practice experience preferred

• Knowledge of Medicare item numbers and Medical Director software is an advantage, but not essential

• Proactive, adaptable, and multitask effectively

• Compassionate, friendly, and capable of working independently

• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks

• Ability to build strong rapport with patients

• A team player with the initiative to help the clinic run smoothly and efficiently

• Quick-thinking with a calm, professional nature
