The Position – HSEQ Business Partner (0.4 FTE)
We are seeking an experienced part-time (32 hours/fortnight+) HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) Business Partner to provide hands-on HSEQ support.
The successful person will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Promoting a strong and compliant HSEQ culture.
Coaching and providing HSEQ advice.
Maintaining current ISO accreditation (ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
Maintaining existing and develop new HSEQ documentation.
Conducting investigations and closing out HSEQ incidents.
Conducting HSEQ training and toolbox meetings at a variety of locations around Perth (held at either 6am or 3.30pm).
Assisting with the HSEQ component of tenders.
Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidates will have:
Extensive Health Safety Environment Quality experience within a trade industry (highly desirable)
Strong knowledge of and ability to interpret HSEQ legislation, regulations, and acts
Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO certification standards
Experience with HSEQ management systems
Auditing experience
Advanced computer skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Highly developed health and safety leadership experience
High attention to detail
Strong problem-solving experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
