Project Coordinator

Geographe Underground Services is a long-standing utility contractor specialising in Directional Drilling, Trenching, Electrical, Communications and Overhead services.

Geographe Underground Services (GUS) are seeking the services of a full time Project Coordinator (including Administration) experience.

With our Head Office based in Bunbury, and a Metro Depot in Landsdale, we service the South West, Perth Metro, Eastern and Northern corridors of Western Australia. This role is predominantly working with our Perth operations (focusing on Western Power scope), but may be required to travel from time to time.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate individual portfolio of Western Power work (Pole to Pillar connections)

Pole to Pillar connections form one of our business's revenue streams, incorporating new end-to-end residential power connections (high volume, low complexity projects);

Scoping, quoting & planning new projects (including administration and record keeping);

Managing the projects timeframes and budgets;

Materials ordering and procurement;

Communication with the customer and other stakeholders (via email, phone and in person);

On-site supervision as required;

Relationship management (Western Power, Private Customers, Subcontractors)

Scheduling resources (internal & subcontract);

Administration for project lifecycle (including variations, close out)

Ensuring work is performed to specifications;

Adherence to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with Energy Safety, Western Power and internal Company Policy;

Attention to detail and the ability to operate under pressure within a team to delivery projects;

Show high regard for personal safety and the safety of work crews.

Highly Regarded Skills

Project Planning, Coordination & Scheduling experience (desirable);

Microsoft Office Suite Experience (essential)

Current valid Driver's License (essential);

Scoping and site attendance - 20%
