Burns & Co Auctions offer auction services across the country with a focus on Classic and Collectable Cars and Bikes along with Collectables such as vintage petrol pumps, enamel signs, petrol and oil, milk bar etc.

Burns & Co has two auction facilities, one in Bayswater, Melbourne, Vic and the other in Beresfield, Newcastle. N.S.W.

For the 2024 calendar year Burns & Co did 96 auctions across both facilities with a turn over in excess of $34 million AUD with around 500 classic and collectable cars and around 200 bikes going through the ring.

The role of Administration Manager is an important role within our company and forms part of our management team. This position is full time based on a 38 hour week and ideally would be 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

The role requires an experienced and well versed, strong administrator who understands the importance of urgency, accuracy and delegation, confidentiality and is well presented, punctual and organised.

You'll be working very closely with the company director and the company accountant and will provide some PA assistance to the director.

Reporting directly to the company director, Ashley Burns, the administration manager oversees the following: trust accounting (overseeing the trust manager), payroll, superannuation, company tax obligations, staff entitlements, staff travel, company insurances, vehicle registrations and servicing, accounts payable, staff credit card management, company expenses, property maintenance, policies and procedures, company uniform, staff rosters along with other roles as needed.

Burns & Co uses Xero accounting software so some experience with this program would be advantageous.

Our current staff level is around 15, up from 2 in 2020 so the company has enjoyed tremendous growth and momentum over the last 5 years on the back of outstanding staff and exceptional service.
