BKT Chartered Accountants is a well established boutique accounting practice located on St Kilda Rd. Due to recent growth we are looking for and Administration Manager to join our team.

About You:
You enjoy the office environment and being an important member of our team.
Have a positive, can-do attitude.
You like dealing with people and you are equally happy to work in a quiet environment.
You are organised, take pleasure in completing tasks and have good attention to detail.
Are comfortable with technology and are skilled when it comes to Microsoft Office Suite and dealing with databases.
Happy to ask questions and learn as you go.

You will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of our practice, and we know just how important you will be to us. As the central support person, we will look to you to provide us with the attention to detail and energy to complete tasks effectively in a timely manner.
We are open to your feedback, but you will be aware that sometimes it may take some time to appreciate our systems and processes, and these may be improved with your experience and know-how in time.
Client communication is a key part of our business and your personality and professional manner will shine with the eclectic group of clients that we deal with.
You don’t need to know everything. This is where we help you learn on-the-job and nothing is too complicated. Our staff are always happy to help and explain.

About the job:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, including:
Preparation and forwarding of client end of year document packs
Monitoring and actioning ATO Online communication portals
Scanning and maintenance of on-line and in-office files
Monitoring and coordinating ATO lodgements
Liaising with external organisations
Answering phones via our Teams platform
Banking
Management of supplies
Miscellaneous duties from time to time
Assisting the partners with administrative tasks
Database management
Exiting/On-Boarding of Clients
Liaising with our external IT Support partner
General support to the accounting team
