About the Organisation:
Our client is a well respected, values-driven Not-for-Profit with decades of experience helping young people into meaningful employment. They work closely with schools, employers, and community organisations to build successful employment pathways across metro and regional areas.

The Role:
As a Recruitment Engagement Officer, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and engaging apprentices and trainees through a mix of direct outreach, school engagement, career events, and strong candidate care. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely placements, support workforce demand, and build long-term talent pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source apprentices and trainees using a multi-channel approach – job ads, schools, community groups, LLNs, and social media
• Build strong candidate pipelines, particularly in high-demand and regional areas
• Coordinate and conduct screening, shortlisting, and assessment activities
• Maintain accurate candidate data and provide regular reporting
• Collaborate with internal operations and recruitment teams to align on placement needs and priorities
• Attend schools and outreach events (2 per month) to build awareness and attract future talent

About You:

• Background in recruitment, employment services, community engagement, or youth support
• Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with candidates and stakeholders
• Experience with candidate screening, talent sourcing, or school engagement highly regarded
• A passion for helping young people succeed and making a genuine community impact
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel occasionally for outreach/school visits
