Position Overview
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager (VIC), you’ll play a key role in finding and placing great candidates into apprenticeships and traineeships with our employer partners. You will collaborate with schools, TAFE’s and community groups to promote the career pathways available through apprenticeships and traineeships.
What you’ll be doing:
Recruitment and Engagement
Create job ads that stand out, are specific to vacancy requirements and attract top candidates.
Screen, interview and shortlist applications based on eligibility requirements.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
Represent WPC Group at career expos, industry events, and information sessions.
Work closely with employer partners to ensure a smooth recruitment and onboarding process.
Support new apprentices and trainees with their transition into the workforce, with informative orientations, and accurate administration, and compliance.
Marketing and Strategic Communications
Support attraction and selection strategies through presentations at schools, TAFEs, career expos and industry events.
Keep recruitment materials fresh and engaging.
Use social media and networking to source talent.
Administration and compliance
Maintain reports on recruitment activities.
Assist with employment contracts, PPE distribution, and compliance tasks.
Support the team with job listings and applicant tracking.
What you'll bring:
Proven ability to meet recruitment KPIs.
Strong communicator—both written and verbal.
Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organised.
Customer-focused with great attention to detail.
Resilient, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
A natural networker who thrives on building connections.
Knowledge of apprenticeships, traineeships, or the VET system is a plus!
Full driver’s licence and ability to meet employment screening requirements.
