Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Alumni Engagement Officer to join Alumni and Engagement, Engagement, Chancellery Division.
We are seeking an Alumni Engagement Officer to join the Alumni and Engagement Office in the Engagement Portfolio. The position plays an important role in connecting alumni with meaningful engagement opportunities to create real-world impact and lifelong connections. This includes profiling and recognition, connecting alumni expertise and knowledge with students, teaching and learning and research and supporting ongoing alumni career development and further study. The position works closely with engagement teams in faculties and divisions to support QUT strategic priorities.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in communication/public relations/marketing/stakeholder relations or a related discipline with a minimum of two years related work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects including high-level analytical, problem-solving and research skills, and interpreting and enriching data sets for stakeholders.
- High level written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely across a variety of mediums with attention to detail.
- High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in relationship management and being agile and responsive to internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience in establishing own priorities and working within tight and competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of information technology to achieve operational outcomes efficiently and effectively including skills, experience and understanding of relational databases, such as Salesforce and demonstrated advanced skills in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other programs.
