A local family-owned award-winning company operating for over 34 years, The Distributors Mt Gambier takes pride in providing excellent customer service to our existing and ever-expanding client base. We offer an extensive range of food and beverage products, including paper products, cleaning solutions, catering equipment and BBQ essentials throughout The Limestone Coast & Southeast of Western Victoria.

Based in Mount Gambier, this position will ideally suit a person with exceptional customer service who is organized, uses initiative with the ability to work well under pressure and to specific deadlines.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Greet customers and provide face-to-face and over-the-counter service

Answer and direct inbound calls to appropriate team members

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

Resolve customer queries and make quick decisions to ensure timely and accurate outcome

General office duties including email correspondence, data entry and scanning

Requirements:

Confident and outgoing personality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and adapt to change readily and positively

Possess strong time-management skills, completing tasks quickly and efficiently by specific deadlines

Experience in resolving customer queries and making quick decisions to ensure timely and accurate outcome

Be willing to learn other roles within the office

Work independently and within a team

Have a positive and professional work ethic
