An amazing opportunity is available within the East Arnhem Population Primary Health Care team to work as part of a multidisciplinary health team and engage closely with other service providers.

As the Aboriginal Health Practitioner Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Aboriginal Health Practitioner traineeship program on the four communities in the Groote Eylandt Archipelago, requiring close collaboration with the Director of Primary Health Care for East Arnhem Region and The Chief Aboriginal Health Practitioner NT Health well as agencies such as Ninti training and Early careers.

You will work closely with the Remote Area Clinic staff including Remote Area Nurses, Clinic Managers and General Practitioners to provide a proactive and preventative approach to service delivery in this high priority program.

To be successful, you will have:

Current registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board.

Demonstrated experience as a clinical educator and program management skills
