Our mission is to help people elevate their sleep experience with sustainable bedding products that are luxurious, yet affordable.
We’ve laid the groundwork. Now we need a sharp, proactive Social Media & Content Manager to own our social growth system, build the right kind of content engine, and help turn scrolls into sales.
The Role
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on both social media and understanding that content drives everything. You’ll own our end-to-end social media performance — from customer avatar-aligned planning, influencer identification, and content strategy, through to weekly reporting and revenue attribution.
You won’t need to do graphic design or video editing — we have support for that — but you will need to brief and manage the process. You’ll also need to produce organic post concepts (a mix of reels and static), guide the creative direction, and keep everything aligned to performance goals.
This role is 20 hours per week (possibly more in future), and you’ll need to work independently, report clearly, and spot opportunities before anyone else does.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own a repeatable social strategy aligned to 4–6 customer avatars
Lead quarterly and monthly planning across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook & Amazon
Monitor platform trends and identify content angles worth testing
Proactively identify roadblocks to growth and recommend solutions
🔹 Influencer & Content System Development
Identify low- and mid-tier influencers who align with our brand and audience
Build a system for generating influencer-led content that supports both paid and organic use (VA available to assist with outreach etc)
Ensure content output reaches desired pieces per week (50-60% video, 40-50% static)
Liaise with Ad Buyer (agency) to supply constant stream of content for advertising
🔹 Organic Social Management
Create organic post concepts (mix of reels and static)
Write creative briefs and oversee delivery from the graphics/video team
Schedule content using social tools and maintain brand voice and consistency
Monitor engagement and evolve messaging based on performance
🔹 Platform Optimisation
Ensure TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop are set up, tagged, and optimised
Manage and improve Link Tree or link-in-bio tools, using performance data to drive updates
Stay ahead of new features, shoppable content formats, and in-app trends
🔹 Performance Reporting
Own weekly and monthly reporting across social platforms (organic and paid impact)
Analyse content performance and share insights that inform future creative
Track engagement, traffic, and conversion from social sources and recommend improvements
Who You Are
A performance-minded social manager with at least 2 years of experience
Skilled at mapping content to customer psychology — and using insights to inform action
Strong communicator with a knack for writing clear creative briefs
People management experience
Proactive and self-managed — you thrive on accountability, not micromanagement
Comfortable using tools like Meta Business Suite, Linktree, MagicBrief, Later/Planoly/etc.
Ideally experienced in ecommerce or consumer packaged goods (bonus points for bedding, wellness, or home goods)
