Rise is on the hunt for a learning focused Manager to lead our Learning & Development (L&D) team which currently includes a Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Educator and Assistant Administrator. In the role, you will steer the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of programs that support strategies to build a sustainable, resilient and adaptable workforce.
This position is part-time working 60.8 hours per fortnight with flexibility to discuss days/times. You will be based at our Helen’s Place office (Middle Swan) and once up-to-speed/approved you may enjoy work-from-home hybrid flexibility.
A typical day may look like…
Staff management including recruitment, development and performance management
Designing, communicating and organising a program of professional development pathways for staff
Consulting and providing advice/guidance to Manager on development needs
Conducting training needs analyses across the organisation and recommending solutions
Reviewing training programs and ensuring relevance and effectiveness on a regular basis
Developing and maintaining tools and procedures relating to L&D
Determining future training requirements and planning accordingly
Monitoring and reporting on training budget
👉🏼 The need-to-have…
Here at Rise, we nurture potential, but we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:
Cert IV Training and Assessment and/or background in a similar position
Proven efficiency leading L&D for an organisation
Experience developing and implementing organisational and individual L&D plans
Top-notch communication with skills to adapt your style to suit different scenarios
Skills in juggling competing demands whilst using initiative
✅ Formalities (The serious stuff!)
Appointments to this position require a National Police Clearance. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
