My client is seeking an experienced Account Director to join their dynamic design agency in South Yarra. As the Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing key client relationships liaising with mostly FMCG clients, across integrated channels, ensuring seamless delivery of creative projects and driving business growth. You'll be reporting to a SAD and oversee juniors.

Key responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong partnerships and understanding their evolving business needs

Effectively manage project timelines, budgets and resources to deliver high-quality creative work on time and on budget

Lead strategic input, assist with pitches, create insightful briefs and execute successful campaigns and design projects

Proactively identify new opportunities to expand client engagements and drive agency revenue growth

Provide strategic counsel to clients, offering creative solutions to help them achieve their marketing and business goals

Oversee and motivate juniors.

What we're looking for

5 years of experience in an account management or project management role within a design, advertising or creative agency

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams

Strong project management expertise, including experience in managing budgets, timelines and resources

In-depth understanding of the design and creative process, with the ability to translate client needs into winning solutions

Demonstrated success in growing client accounts and expanding service offerings and driving business growth.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset
