Dark Knight Engineering (DKE Group) are a leading engineering company within Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Building Management Systems, and we are looking for an experienced and tenacious Mechanical Project Manager to join our team full-time at our Park Ridge office.

About the role -

We require a motivated and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team to help continue our growth.

Responsibilities of the role -

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare quotes based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Skills and experience -

• Trade qualified in Fabrication or Mechanical is a Must
• 5-8 years project management experience
• Current Driver's License
• Willing to work overtime
• Ability to work autonomously
• Good communications skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong multitasking and time management skills are essential
• Capacity to deal with pressure
