We are currently looking to grow our team by hiring experienced Underground HD Fitters for ongoing FIFO work in the Goldfields/Gascoyne region on a variety of rosters.

The ideal candidate will excel in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various heavy machinery and equipment. As we are a Volvo Penta dealer, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and practical experience.

Qualifications & experience

Heavy Duty Fitter trade qualified

Minimum 2 years underground experience

Valid qualifications and licenses (including current driver's license)

Extensive experience with Heavy Duty equipment, including but not limited to: CAT, Normet, Dana, Sandvik, Kessler and Spicer

Strong attention to detail

Capability to work independently and collaboratively

Knowledge of WHS measures in the workplace

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS

Tasks & responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on heavy diesel equipment and machinery (both mobile and/or workshop-based).

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to reduce downtime.

Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.

Adhere to safety standards and regulations.

Keep precise records of work completed and parts utilized.
