Westfill is recruiting!! We're looking for experienced underground HD fitters to join our growing team and expand on existing knowledge and experience.

Westfill is a specialised underground mining contractor and service provider based in Western Australia, with decades of boots-on-the-ground experience and practical knowledge to provide quality personnel, products and operational contract services into the underground mining industry.

We are currently seeking experienced Underground HD Fitters to fill multiple vacancies with our highly regarded owner operator clients on a FIFO 7:7 Roster.

Responsibilities:

As an Underground Drill Fitter at Westfill, you will play a pivotal role. Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing and breakdown repairs

Preventative maintenance and defect repairs

Fault finding – mechanical, hydraulic, electrical

Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job

General workshop duties and housekeeping

Adhere to all site safety protocols

Participate in shift changeover and collect information for upcoming shift tasks

Promote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environment

Qualifications:

Diesel, Plant or Heavy Automotive Trade Certificate

Preferably 2 years’ post trade experience working in heavy machinery, agriculture, civil, construction or mining environment

Be self-motivated and have a team orientated approach

Current Valid Manual Driver’s License
