MMFS is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters for multiple sites, we have various rosters on offer and paying up to $90 per hour.

About the role’s:

Heavy Diesel Fitter (Surface): This position is ideally suited for HD Fitters who have hands-on experience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu Mining Equipment, holding a Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering Mechanical Trade Cert or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology cert. We have Workshop only roles on offer, and Field Services. We have multiple roles available in the Pilbara, Kimberley and Goldfields of WA.

Heavy Diesel Fitter (Underground): This position is ideally suited for HD Fitters who have hands-on experience with Sanvik, Caterpillar, Atlas Copco, JCB, and Norme. This role will be based in the Goldfields of WA on an even time roster 2:2.

What's Required (Surface):

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Demonstrable experience working on mobile surface equipment (MEM)
• Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu Mining Equipment
• Previous experience working in surface mining and with diagnosing and repairing mining equipment
• Strong work ethic & capability to work collaboratively
• National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical & Drug Screening
• Eligible to work in Australia without requiring a sponsorship
