Casual Café Cook

About the role

Café in Canterbury looking for a café cook to join our team. This is a casual role, offering 3 to 4 breakfast/lunch shifts.

What you'll be doing

· Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast & lunch menu items

· Ensuring a clean, organized and efficient kitchen

· Adhering to food safety standards and guidelines

· Ensuring all food is presented attractively and in a timely manner

What we're looking for

We are looking to welcome for someone who has:

· A passion for creating delicious, visually appealing meals

Previous experience in café / breakfast / restaurant kitchens

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive work ethic

Experience in effectively maintaining and managing the space

Strong organizational skills, able to priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a busy kitchen

Must be able to work unsupervised and be an excellent team player

Relevant industry qualifications
