Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver strategic and annual audit plans, focusing on financial, legislative, and operational compliance.
  
  
• Lead and manage complex audits, including financial compliance reviews, performance audits, special investigations, and probity reviews.
  
  
• Evaluate the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.
  
  
• Provide independent, high-level advice to senior management on governance, risk, and control issues.
  
  
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Mentor and support the development of audit team members.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with professional auditing standards, particularly those set by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
