About the Role:
This is a 3-6 month temporary contract where you'll lead and support the implementation of a new payroll system. You'll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition to a centralised payroll platform-focused on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Duties:
- Drive the implementation of a payroll system across multiple business units
- Conduct process mapping, system testing, and user training
- Work with key stakeholders in HR, Finance, and IT to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure compliance with Australian legislation and relevant enterprise agreements
- Create documentation, SOPs, and change management communications
- Contribute to payroll process improvement and automation initiatives
Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in payroll implementations
- Experience across large system such as ADP, Chris21, SAP, Ascender, Workday
- Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and EAs
- Experience in large, complex, or multi-entity environments
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
